Myself and Roger had to do a stop motion animation so what we decided to do was to go to the park and film us on thee park things .

First we did the round about animation. we got roger to sit down then Id take a picture then hed move abit then the same thing happends again and again .

after we did this we did the same practise again but with me on the zip wire .

Back in the classroom we uploaded the photos into the computer and put them on final cut.
What I did was that i dragged all the pictures onto the timeline then after i did this I changed the duration of the photos to 00.00.00.04 secconds so that they speed up after each other.

after this was done it was pretty much ready we toyed with the idea of adding sound effects but no sounds would fit no matter how many ideas we had.
The same thing to the video of me on the zip wire

I believe that my video was pretty well done and that it looks like a real stop motion photography

Kinect + Garry's Mod

The reason I have put this video on here is because The game has not been made for the connect but the creator just did some hacking into the game and added a use for the Kinect by letting you take control of the charecters

Dubstep Robots - Kinect Dual Robot Dance

ROS + Kinect

The reason I added this video is that because it shows you that the kinect can be used for more than the simple gaming idea this video shows people using it to control a robots movements. This other use for the kinect is shown in the video above also

Xbox Kinect

Last lesson for our motion capture research we went on the Xbox 360 to use the Kinect system. What this does is capture our movements and lets us interact with the game. To be honest I was really surprised how good the connect really was I thought that it would be laggy and inaccurate but it  was quite the opposite it moved exactly how we moved . I played two games on Kinect sports one where you have to hit balls and the other one where you ride on a raft What movements I did was waving my hands and hitting a ball to make it move and on the raft game we had to steer it by leaning left and right and to make it jump we had to jump ,  I really enjoyed the experience.

Green screen

What we did for this lesson is that we got a white background and got a manaquin standing in front with a camera ( cannon 5D) on a tripod ready to take pictures of it. Also we  had  a green light to make  the background green for green screening. in the studio we took a picture with the manequin in one position then moved it a bit then took another picuture and so on to make it look like it is moving.

When editing we leaned how to use the chroma key to change the background but what we needed to do to get it just right was to mess around with all the different settings to make it work The problem was because we all took so long to learn how to chroma key we couldnt finish the animation.
